Schuyler County has at least 35 waterfalls available to the public for viewing, selfies and – in some cases – interactive opportunities. In the State Park, hikers walk behind and sometimes through waterfalls. There are also many, many unnamed waterfalls along Route 14 between Watkins Glen and Montour Falls and along Route 414, going north out of Watkins Glen. These waterfalls flow and freeze, demonstrating Mother Nature’s prowess and power!

Fun fact: SheQuaGa Falls, in Montour Falls, makes a cameo appearance in the opening credits of the Hallmark Murder Mystery Series, Real Murders: An Aurora Teagarden Mystery and is pictured in a sketch that hangs in the Louvre.
